Muslim Tech Fest

The history of Islam is packed with innovations in medicine, astronomy, physics, agriculture, and mathematics. But here’s the rub: Muslims are continuing to make great strides in technology, but no-one’s celebrating this.

That was until two friends - Arfah Farooq and Zahid Mahmood - connected on LinkedIn and sparked an idea: The Muslim Tech Festival (MTF). It’s a celebration of Muslim founders and entrepreneurs, innovation, technology, cultural diversity, and under-represented talent.

300 people attended the first event in London in 2023. Seeing there was a  hunger for the event, MTF contacted us for help with branding and publicity.

We created their identity and brand guidelines, then expanded into a full campaign including website, CRM, social, and printed materials.

It’s resonated with the Muslim community: the London Muslim Tech Festival sold out, with 1,000 attendees, and a further 300 on the waiting list. Now, it’s going global: we’re off to San Francisco to launch the Muslim Tech Festival at the home of tech itself: Silicon Valley.
